A new tutorial find

posted Jul 15, 2013, 6:10 PM by Sherilyn Siegmund-Roach

I love finding a genuinely good source of free tutorials.  There is so much information on the internet that finding the right or the best information can be difficult.  The Ribbon Retreat has a terrific list of online free tutorials, as well as a terrific tutorial blog.  The tutorials are mostly ribbon bows of various sorts and simple clothing.  The quality is very high, so it is definitely worth a look-see!

Updated Downloads links page

posted Dec 11, 2012, 11:25 AM by Sherilyn Siegmund-Roach

Hi,
I have updated my links page to make it more searchable. There are 2 new columns so you can more easily see which links are for for machine embroidery and which are for sergers.

I also included links to two stabilizer workbooks, which I have found very helpful.

Holly Days Bazaar

posted Oct 11, 2012, 5:40 PM by Sherilyn Siegmund-Roach

Come out and see me at the Holly Days Bazaar.  The bazaar is Friday, October 19 4-8PM, and Saturday, October 20, 10am-5pm at the Physical Fitness Center on Fort Wainwright.  There are 92 craft vendors, so this is a perfect opportunity to check off your shopping list.

I hope to see you there!

Calendar now working

posted Sep 30, 2012, 7:37 AM by Sherilyn Siegmund-Roach

Hi,
If you have checked my teaching schedule in the past month or so, you would have seen only "busy" at the times I was teaching classes. I finally got it fixed.  I don't know why it suddenly changed to "busy," but it's fixed now.

So, if you want to check on my classes you can do so now.  If you click on the class names, you will be able to read a brief class description as well as find the location of the class.  I am currently teaching at Blue Ribbon Sew N Vac and Northern Threads in Fairbanks, Alaska.

Have a fantabulous day!

When Kindle update for pattern will be available

posted Jul 10, 2012, 9:37 AM by Sherilyn Siegmund-Roach

I have learned so much from this experience.  Learning may be a challenge, but it's always so rewarding in the end.

Anyone who purchases the Kindle pattern from here on out will have the updated version, which is currently live on the Amazon website.  For those of us who downloaded the book already, it will not be available for us to update our books until 2 weeks from now.  When that becomes possible, I'll let you all know again.

Thank you again for your support through this venture.

Update complete

posted Jul 9, 2012, 12:11 AM by Sherilyn Siegmund-Roach

I uploaded a good update to the Kindle book, so if you looked at it and wondered where the pictures are, you can now download a new version with pictures.  Amazon will, hopefully, send everyone who purchased a copy an e-mail telling them about the update.  I think you'll find it much more readable and it has pictures and diagrams!
Thank you again for your patience, and thank you to everyone who has bought the pattern so far.
Have a lovey day!
Sherilyn

Serger cover pattern on Kindle upate:

posted Jul 7, 2012, 12:31 PM by Sherilyn Siegmund-Roach

I have finally seen the Kindle version of my pattern, and the formatting is atrocious.  If you buy the book now, I will be updating it and fixing the formatting errors ASAP, then uploading the new version.  Thank you for your patience.
