Project to be removed and new serger

Remember to download all three sections of the Serger Cover (Dec, Jan, and Feb) from the Newsletter Group site, if you have not done so already.  I will be taking these down at the end of February and they will no longer be available for free.

I am also excited that I was just able to buy an Evolve. Who knew they were still around? I am excited and am looking forward to designing projects that include cover stitch and chain stitch.  I won't forget all those of us who can't use those stitches, but it's such fun to move forward and expand our repertoire whenever possible, isn't it?

I also found out that my serger cover does NOT fit the Evolve well.  If I had to make it fit, I would increase the width on the sides to be about 11" x 11" and increase the length of my central rectangle from 29" to 33". The black strips could also be a bit wider, say an additional 1/2 inch each.

That means I need to make a new cover for my new serger.  Right now, time to sew is eluding me, but I hope in a couple of weeks to be able to get serging and sewing again.

Until then, wishing you many happy serging hours,
Sherilyn
